What are the cancellation policies?

Cancellation policy

Sitters can choose from different cancellation policies (flexible, medium, and strict). Note: These policies apply only to boarding and in-home pet sitting.


  • Flexible: Full refund up to 11:59 PM on the day before the booking; no refund after this time.
  • Medium: Full refund for cancellations made at least 5 days before the pet sitting starts. For example, if the pet sitting begins on a Friday, cancellations must be made by Thursday of the previous week (by 11:59 PM); 50% refund for cancellations made after this; no refund for cancellations after the start of the first day of pet sitting.
  • Strict: Full refund for cancellations made at least 10 days before the pet sitting starts. For example, if the pet sitting begins on a Friday, cancellations must be made by Sunday 10 days prior (by 11:59 PM); 50% refund for cancellations made after this; no refund for cancellations after the start of the first day of pet sitting.
