How do reviews work?

Modified on Mon, 4 Nov at 12:28 PM

Reviews are very important for sitters, so take the time to write one.

On the last day of your dog’s stay, you’ll receive an email asking you to leave a review. The goal is to help other pet owners choose the right sitter for their dog.

For your review, you can rate the sitter from 1 to 5 paw prints. If you’re very satisfied, give 5 paw prints. Additionally, you may (though it’s not required) briefly explain why you gave this rating. If you’re pleased with your sitter, they’ll appreciate a positive review, as it increases their chances for future bookings! On the other hand, if you’re less satisfied, this feedback is valuable to us as well. If sitters receive too many negative reviews, we may take action and eventually remove them from our platform. We want to provide a safe environment for our community.

Guidelines for reviews and responses

  • The review and/or response should be made in good faith and be truthful;
  • Content should relate to the sitter’s service and/or the owner’s behavior;
  • Content must not contain offensive or hurtful language, and it must not be defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or contain racist language;
  • Content should not include sensitive or personal information (such as addresses, websites, etc.);
  • Content should not contain commercial messages; and
  • Content should not contain links and/or scripts.

For more information, please refer to our  terms and conditions.

My review was submitted incorrectly

If you happen to write a review intending to give 5 paw prints but accidentally submit it with, for example, 3 paw prints, don’t worry! We can correct this for you. Just send us a message through the  contact form and we’ll help you as soon as possible.
